We are located on beautiful and scenic Washington Island off of Wisconsin's "Door" Peninsula. The Island is a very unique place, with a long tradition of fishing and farming, and in more recent times tourism and summer get-aways.

Washington Island has a long tradition of farming & fishing & in more recent times of tourism. Our permanent population is 700. In the summer months the influx of summer residents raises the population to an estimated several thousand. Our community is supported by same services found elsewhere. Medical & emergency services, library, churches, schools.  Washington Island is rich in the arts; music, theater, painters, writers, authors, jewelry making, & crafts.

Island Fantasy Gifts started in 1995. By Mom & Mom-in-law Peg Nikolai. Peg is enjoying retirement here on the Island with her husband Bob. They are doing well. And they do help us out quite a bit with the business.

Island Fantasy Gifts has been in several locations over the years. Now its permanent home is on Lobdell Point Road.  

Our family history on Washington Island spans over 125 years.
We are fiercely proud of our heritage & have a great love for the Island and its people.

We offer a wide variety of Island related apparel, souvenirs, candles, specialty foods, toys and hand crafted jewelry - in addition to popular lines such as Webkinz, TY Beanies, Willow Tree, WoodWick Candles, and Door County Coffee.
